For my first blog I looked to the dictionary for inspiration. Webster’s New Millennium Dictionary defines the noun “blog” as “an online diary.” I see the word “diary” and I have flashbacks of junior high school. Like many young teenage girls, I had a diary for my innermost thoughts. It was a white book with rainbow colored hearts on the cover. It had a lock on it to reassure me that my thoughts would be kept secret. That is, until my younger brother got his hands on it and brought it to school. Oh yeah. I laugh now, but I wasn’t laughing then. Fast forward to today…. I’ve been asked to blog on our station’s website. Well, at least now I control when people will find out about my secret crush on Dancing With The Stars’ Jason Taylor.
